abstract |
The present invention relates to a novel nuclear localization signal peptide, and to a use of the same. A nuclear localization signal according to the present invention is derived from uncoordinated 51-like kinase 2 (ULK2) playing an important role in adjusting autophagy of an animal cell. It has been confirmed that an NLS peptide according to the present invention plays a role of coupling ULK2 and Kap2 and localizing the same in a nucleus. Accordingly, a peptide according to the present invention can be used not only in inducing intra-nuclear movement of a protein expressed only in cytoplasm and controlling a function thereof but also in expressing an anticancer peptide, a protein, or the like. |
