titleOfInvention Hydrogel particle and composite embolic material
abstract Provided are a hydrogel particle and a composite embolic material including the same. The hydrogel particle comprises one or more biodegradable polymers selected from gelatin and chitosan, and one or more C_(18)-C_(26) aliphatic hydrocarbon derivatives selected from alkyl amine and alkyl amide. The hydrogel particle has an FT-IR spectrum in which a C-H stretching vibration peak of methylene (CH_2) of C_(18)-C_(26) aliphatic hydrocarbon is shown in a wave number range of 2850 to 3000 cm^(-1). Side effects of an iodine-based contrast medium are minimized.
