abstract | The system and method processes time information including at least one object in motion. The visual information is processed by locating at least one spatial edge of the object, generating a plurality of space-time warps for at least one spatial edge over N frames, and then generating motion blur images from space-time warps . Regression analysis is performed on motion blur images to determine the orientation of the object's motion information, and scene motion vectors are then generated for N frames based on the orientation of the motion information. The event is detected in the visual information based on scene motion vectors. |
