abstract | The present invention relates to a recycled room temperature asphalt composition and an asphalt concrete construction method using the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, by using modified additives, a binding force between aggregates is improved, a curing time is reduced, a Marshall stability value and flow value which are required for asphalt concrete are improved so as to minimize a use amount of recycled aggregates, and waste asphalt concrete, which is industrial wastes, is recycled to be used and to have useful industrial use, thereby protecting an environment and improving economical properties. Also, by using pigment including carbon in the modified additives, it is possible to construct asphalt concrete having a visual effect, having improved storage by preventing moistures from being rapidly evaporated due to the carbon included in the pigment so as to enable to store in a tank for a long period of time and to have chemical stability, and having excellent quality by preventing the asphalt concrete from being rapidly cured during a site construction. In addition, since recycled asphalt concrete can be constructed in a room temperature without heating the asphalt concrete, cost of fuel can be reduced, compared to a heated asphalt mixture, and an amount of generated carbon dioxide can be reduced, at the same time. Also, it is possible to prevent quality and performance from being degraded by heating, oxidation, and degradation of asphalt. |
