abstract | Disclosed is a terminal-modified, soluble, multifunctional vinyl aromatic copolymer improved in heat resistance, thermal decomposition resistance, solvent availability, processability and compatibility with an acrylate compound, and a curable resin composition using the same. This terminal-modified, multifunctional vinyl aromatic copolymer is obtained by reacting a divinyl aromatic compound (a), a monovinyl aromatic compound (b), and an aromatic ether compound (c), and an aromatic ether (Mn) of 500 to 100,000, an introduction amount (c1) of an end group derived from an aromatic ether compound is 1.0 / number of molecules or more, and the number of terminal groups derived from a divinyl aromatic compound (B ') of the structural unit derived from the monovinyl aromatic compound is a' / (a '+ b') = 0.05 to 0.95. The curable resin composition includes the copolymer and an acrylate-based unsaturated monomer. |
