titleOfInvention | Method of preparation of five-membered cyclic carbonates by using the zinc-glutamate metal organic frameworks as catalysts |
abstract | The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a 5-membered carbonate compound, which enables carbon dioxide and an epoxy compound to be reacted in relatively mild reaction conditions by using a metal organic frame catalyst, [Zn(L-Glutamate)(H_2O)].2H_2O, which is a porous inorganic coordination compound. The catalyst used in the present invention is a porous catalyst, which has a regular structure, has a large surface area, and is stable, thereby having excellent reactivity and stability in comparison with the conventional catalyst. The catalyst can synthesize the 5-membered carbonate compound in high yields under the conditions at relatively low pressures and low temperatures in comparison with the other catalysts. |
