The present invention reports lipid particles comprising apo fat protein, phosphatidylcholine and lipids such as phospholipids, fatty acids or steroid lipids. In one embodiment, the lipid particle comprises only one apo fat protein. In one embodiment, the lipid particle consists of one apo fat protein, a phospholipid, a lipid and a detergent. In one embodiment, the lipid is a second phosphatidylcholine, wherein the first phosphatidylcholine and the second phosphatidylcholine differ in one or two fatty acid residues or fatty acid residue derivatives esterified in the glycerol backbone of the phosphatidylcholine. In one embodiment, the apo fat protein is selected from apo fat proteins that have an amino acid sequence selected from SEQ ID NOS: 1, 2, 6, 66, and 67, or mutants thereof that have at least 70% sequence identity with the selected sequence. |
