abstract The present invention also provides a method for producing a reduced-iron reducing compact, a reduced-iron compacting device, and an apparatus for manufacturing a molten iron including the same. The minute reduced iron compacting method comprises the steps of i) filling a space between reduced iron and at least one gas selected from the group consisting of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, and ii) converting carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide and carbon while compacting the reduced iron .
