abstract | Disclosed is a liquid crystal aligning agent which can give a liquid crystal alignment film which is excellent in electric characteristics and which does not deteriorate the liquid crystal alignment performance even when used under a high temperature condition for a long time, and further has excellent printability. (Solution) The liquid crystal aligning agent contains at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polyamic acid and polyimide.
