The process for producing racemic or optically active D or L- alpha -glycerophosphorylcholine according to the present invention is economical using a low-cost starting material as compared with the conventional method, one-pot reaction, as well as the use of an inorganic base which increases the activity of the reaction, the quantitative racemic and optically active D or L-α-glycerol There is an effect that mass production of phosphorylcholine and salts thereof can be effected. |
