abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for treating breast cancer comprising an inhibitor of the HOXB5 gene as an active ingredient or a diagnostic composition using the same. When HOXB5 of the present invention is used as a marker for breast cancer diagnosis, it is possible to diagnose estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, which accounts for more than 50 to 80% of all breast cancer patients, and thus it is expected to be useful for early detection and effective treatment of breast cancer. |
