titleOfInvention A visible light responsive photocatalyst by hydrophilic modification using polymer material and a method for preparing the same
abstract The present invention provides a visible light response photocatalyst developing and manufacturing method having excellent efficiency of removing environmental pollutants. According to the present invention, the surface of titanium dioxide having increased visible light absorption rate by nitrogen doping is modified into a hydrophilic surface by using polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) which is a silicon-carbon precursor, thereby greatly improving the removal efficiency of environmental pollutants under visible light. In addition, the photocatalyst for removing environmental pollutants of the present invention can be applied to environmentally friendly applications such as removal of volatile organic compounds, air purification, wastewater treatment, and sterilization effect, and can be applied to the outer surfaces of buildings, building materials, glass windows, soundproof walls, road facilities, It is possible to remove contaminants while preventing damage due to sunlight.
