titleOfInvention Cornus walteri leaf extract for improving the photo-stability of sunscreen agent and cosmetic composition for UV screening containing the same
abstract The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a safflower leaf extract which can improve the stability of the ultraviolet screening agent due to exposure to ultraviolet rays. The present invention is characterized by the use of an active ingredient extracted from a leaf of a persimmon tree, particularly based on the discovery that an ethanol-water mixed extract is safe and useful for improving the deterioration of light stability by UV exposure of a sunscreen. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a cosmetic composition which is safe without adverse effects on the skin, free of skin irritation, mitigates reduction of UV absorbance by UV exposure of existing UV blocking agents, improves light stability by preventing photochemical reaction, It has excellent effect of alleviating the decrease of SPF.
