The present invention provides D 2 or D 3 antagonist compounds of formula I and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, or isomers and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The invention further encompasses methods of preparing the compounds of the invention and methods of treating conditions mediated by the dopamine D 2 or D 3 receptor from the compounds of the invention.
