titleOfInvention Polarizing plate and production method thereof
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a polarizing plate which is thin and wide and has excellent adhesion between a polarizer and a protective layer, and a method for producing the polarizing plate. n A polarizer made of a polyvinyl alcohol resin and an undercoat layer and an ionizing radiation curable resin laminated on one side or both sides of the polarizer in this order, wherein the undercoat layer comprises a polyvinyl alcohol resin A polarizing plate characterized by containing a water-soluble epoxy compound. (A) an undercoat layer forming step of forming an undercoat layer by applying an aqueous solution containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin and a water-soluble epoxy compound on one side or both sides of a polarizer and then drying the undercoat layer; and (b) Applying a resin composition comprising an ionizing radiation curable resin on an undercoat layer, and irradiating ionizing radiation to cure the composition. n Polarizer
