titleOfInvention | Composition comprising lipocalin 2 inhibitor for preventing and treating inflammatory pain |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating inflammatory pain comprising a lipocalin 2 inhibitor as an active ingredient. The expression level of the LCN2 protein according to the present invention is markedly increased in the inflammatory pain state, and the response to thermal or mechanical pain stimulation is reduced in the CFN-treated LCN2 gene-deficient mouse as compared with the normal mouse, Infiltration is reduced, expression of TNF-a, IL-l [beta] and IL-8 is reduced, and spinal cord microcellular activity is significantly reduced. In addition, treatment of recombinant LCN2 protein in normal mice increases sensitivity to thermal or mechanical pain stimuli, increases neutrophil infiltration in tissues, and increases expression of TNF-a, IL-l [beta], and IL-8 , Which significantly increases the activity of spinal cord microglia. In addition, when LCN2 inhibitors are treated in an animal model of inflammatory pain, there is a mitigating effect on inflammatory pain. Therefore, the LCN2 inhibitor according to the present invention can be usefully used for the prevention or treatment of inflammatory pain. |
