There is provided a brush fiber and a method for producing the same, wherein the brush fiber has a core portion of a fibrous shape and a cover portion formed on a surface of the core portion, wherein the tip portion of the core portion has a tapered shape and the cover portion is a conductive member. The conductive member may be, for example, a sulfide composed of at least one kind of metal selected from Cu, Ag and Pd. |
