titleOfInvention | Starch Particles with Improved Rheological Properties, Touch Feeling and Adjusted Hydrophilicity |
abstract | The present invention relates to starch particles comprising 1 to 20 mol% of at least one surface modifier selected from the group consisting of silica, polysilsesquioxane, titanium dioxide and polysiloxane on its surface, and a process for producing the same. According to the present invention, starch particles having excellent tactile properties, greatly improved rheological properties, and controlled hydrophilicity can be produced. Therefore, it is possible to provide particles which are easily wetted with water but do not become sticky in water unlike the conventional starch, and are immersed in water because they are hardly settled. In addition, the cosmetic composition or emulsion containing the particles of the present invention can be produced because it is advantageous not only in tactility but also in compatibility and can be introduced into cosmetics of various formulations. |
