abstract The present invention provides a compound represented by formula (1). Also, there is provided an organic electroluminescent device including a first electrode, a second electrode, and an organic layer between the first electrode and the second electrode, wherein the organic layer includes a compound represented by the general formula (1). When the compound represented by the general formula (1) is contained in the organic material layer of the organic electronic device, the driving voltage can be reduced and the luminous efficiency, color purity, stability and lifetime can be improved.
