The present invention relates to a method for increasing bone marrow progenitor cells by culturing an initial cell line in a medium containing a mixture of cytokines and growth factors that promote growth and proliferation of bone marrow progenitor cells. The increased cell population provides a source of cells as a treatment for neutropenia and / or thrombocytopenia occurring in patients who have undergone bone marrow remediation and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. |
