abstract A device and method for minimally invasive sealing is disclosed. One sealing device for minimally invasive sutures includes a proximal portion, a distal end, and an intermediate portion therebetween. The device includes a suture head assembly including a suture needle having a pointed end and a second end. The suture needle may rotate about an axis substantially perpendicular to the long axis of the device where the pointed end of the suture needle is advanced by a driver mechanism including a needle driver that engages the suture needle and rotates the needle , Until it is set up to guide the needle along the circular orbit and until the aligned guide is deployed.
