The peptide according to the present invention inhibits the production of various cytokines, cell adhesion molecules, chemotactic factors, signal transduction pathway proteins and reactive oxygen species that induce the onset and progression of cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis and the like, The present invention can be effectively used as a health functional food since it can be used safely for a long period of time because there is no toxicity and side effects due to the nature of a natural origin substance called Spirulina maxima.
