abstract The present invention relates to a separator for a secondary battery having excellent shutdown function and thermal stability, and more particularly, to a separator for a secondary battery comprising a structure in which a meta-aramid nano-web obtained by electrospinning a meta-aramid polymer solution on one surface or both surfaces of a polyolefin nano- . The meta-aramid nanoweb can be prepared by electro-spinning and has an average fiber diameter of 50 to 500 nm and a weight per unit area of 2 to 10 g / m 2 . The meta-aramid polymer solution electrospun on the polyolefin nanoweb has a polymer weight ratio of 5.0 to 13.5 wt%, and the neutralizing agent used in preparing the spinning solution is sodium hydroxide.
