titleOfInvention | Aryloxyphenoxyacetyl-based compound having HIF-1 inhibition activity, preparation method thereof and pharmaceutical composition containing the same as an active ingredient |
abstract | The present invention relates to a compound inhibiting HIF-1 activity, a process for producing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound as an active ingredient. The compound according to the present invention exhibits anticancer activity by inhibiting the activity of HIF-1, a transcription factor that plays an important role in the growth and metastasis of cancer cells, rather than exhibiting anticancer activity by non-selective cytotoxicity. Accordingly, the compound of the present invention or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof inhibits HIF-1 activity and can be used as a therapeutic agent for various solid cancer diseases such as colon cancer, liver cancer, stomach cancer and breast cancer. In addition, the compound of the present invention or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof can be used as an active ingredient of a therapeutic agent for diabetic retinopathy or arthritis which is exacerbated by increased expression of VEGFA by HIF-1 in a hypoxic state. |
