titleOfInvention | Dye-sensitized solar cells and manufacturing methods thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to a dye-sensitized solar cell and a method of fabricating the dye-sensitized solar cell, and more particularly, to a novel dye-sensitized solar cell capable of preventing photoelectron recombination due to trivalent iodine and a method of manufacturing the same. The dye-sensitized solar cell according to the present invention is characterized in that the surface of the dye-sensitized solar cell comprises a metal oxide in which a reactive compound capable of reacting with iodine is adsorbed together with a dye. The dye-sensitized solar cell according to the present invention can prevent the recombination of photoelectrons due to trivalent iodine while using a small amount of dye, thereby providing a dye-sensitized solar cell with high efficiency. |
