titleOfInvention | Peptides derived from microalgae Navicula incerta protein hydrolysate for inhibiting liver fibrosis, and health food containing the same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a peptide derived from a papain hydrolyzate of a microalgae Navicula Incerta for inhibiting liver fibrosis, and a health supplement containing the same. In the present invention, the effect of the peptides on alcohol-induced hepatotoxicity and hepatic fibrosis in two hepatocytes named HepG2 / CYP2E1 and LX-2 cells (HSC) was studied. According to the present invention, both of the two peptides were highly active against alcohol liver damage. In addition, according to the present invention, the mechanism of action of NIPP-1 and NIPP-2 on liver injury is presented. According to the experimental data of the present invention, in all cases, NIPP-1 had higher activity than NIPP-2, and both of these peptides can be used as active ingredients of food additives, functional foods and pharmacological preparations. |
