titleOfInvention | Nitrogen oxide purification catalyst and nitrogen oxide purification method |
abstract | wherein the crystalline silicate having iron in the? skeleton structure has a SiO 2 / Fe 2 O 3 molar ratio of 20 to 300 and at least 80% of the contained iron is isolated iron ion (Fe 3 + ), and wherein the molar ratio of SiO 2 / Fe 2 O 3 is 20 to 300, and the logarithm of SiO 2 / Al 2 O 3 is 2 or more. In these catalysts, it is preferable that most of the iron contained is an isolated iron ion, and at least a part of isolated iron ions have a symmetric tetrahedral structure. These catalysts have high hydrothermal durability. In the presence of these catalysts, nitrogen oxides can be efficiently purified in a wide temperature range from a low temperature to a high temperature by reacting the nitrogen oxides with a reducing agent such as ammonia, urea, organic amines and the like. |
