titleOfInvention Magnetic targeting system and method of using the same
abstract The present invention relates to a magnetic target tracking system for guiding a biocompatibility device to a target region in the body and to a method of using the same. A target tracking member attached to the biocompatibility device and having a steering material is included in the present system. The system further includes one or more anchor members. The anchor member is configured to include a magnetic material magnetically acting on the behavior of the steering material in the body. The magnetically affected anchor member interacts with the target tracking member, allowing the biocompatible device to be positioned relative to the target area.
