titleOfInvention | Composition for preventing or treating diseases related to abnormal suppression of regulatory T cell activation comprising bee venom-derived PLA2 |
abstract | The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing abnormal-regulated T cell activity-lowering diseases comprising, as an active ingredient, a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence of bee venom-phospholipase A2 (BV-PLA2) . The secretory form of bee venom-phospholipase A2 (secretory form BV-PLA2) of the present invention activates regulatory T cells while inhibiting Th1 / Th17 differentiation. Accordingly, the polypeptide of the present invention can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating abnormal T cell activation-related diseases, i.e., autoimmune diseases, allergic diseases or neurodegenerative diseases. |
