titleOfInvention | Embedded sfe: offloading server and network using hardware token |
abstract | An enhanced secure transaction system for facilitating secure transactions between devices within a network is described. The system includes a first device. A security agent applied to encode and deliver a message on behalf of the first device is provided. The security agent has a randomly derived secret key from a large domain embedded in the agent by the first device. A second device adapted to obtain a message from the security agent based on the session ID is provided. The second device may optionally test the authenticity of the corresponding message from the agent based on the query of the first device. Testing is unknown to the security agent during the transaction and is unpredictable. In this way, the first device and the agent are maintained separately to prevent deceptive behavior. |
