abstract | The present invention relates to markers of endothelial cell proliferation nestin expression. Nestin expression in particular is useful as a marker for angiogenesis, particularly tumors associated with angiogenesis. Specifically, nestin acts as an excellent endothelial marker of brain tumors such as glioma, angioblastoma, schwannoma, lobular blastoma, and meningioma. Accordingly, the present invention relates to the use of said marker as a basis for designing angiogenesis. |
