abstract The present invention provides a starch-based polymer particle emulsion containing starch-based polymer particles as a dispersion medium, a reactive emulsifier as an emulsifier, and water as a dispersion medium. The starch-based polymer particle emulsion according to the present invention has excellent water resistance and viscosity stability. In addition, when the starch-based polymer particle emulsion is produced by the production method according to the present invention, the production of aggregates can be minimized and the manufacturing cost can be minimized. Thus, when the starch-based polymer particle emulsion according to the present invention is used as a binder component of a paint, it is possible to provide a water-based paint satisfying the quality standard.
