titleOfInvention Novel Rhodococcus sp. YSPW03 strain and method for removing perchlorate using thereof
abstract The present invention relates to a novel Rhodococcus sp. YSPW03 strain and a method for removing perchlorate using the same. A novel Rhodococcus sp. YSPW03 strain isolated from a wastewater treatment plant digestion tank in Wonju, Gangwon Province, Since the high concentration of perchlorate can be significantly removed in a short period of time as compared with the perchlorate-reducing microorganism, it can be usefully used in biological processes for removing high-concentration perchlorate present in wastewater, sewage, streams or soils.
