abstract A gas sensor capable of selectively responding to volatile basic nitrogen gas such as trimethylamine and a method for producing the same. The gas sensor according to the present invention is a gas sensor for sensing a volatile basic nitrogen gas in which the gas sensing layer is made of zinc oxide (ZnO) -indium oxide (In 2 O 3 ) nanofiber. In the method of manufacturing a gas sensor according to the present invention, a ZnO-In 2 O 3 nanofiber is formed by electrospinning a raw material solution containing a Zn precursor and an In precursor, and then a gas sensing layer is formed using the ZnO-In 2 O 3 nanofiber.
