titleOfInvention | Detection and quantification of microorganisms |
abstract | Appropriate dyes are used to indicate the presence of microbial contamination by spraying on the surface in the form of an aqueous solution. The dye solution may be dried to produce a dried residue of the aqueous solution. These dyes are believed to change color in response to changes in the polarity of the environment. Since water is a polar solvent and most bacteria are made from non-polar materials, the presence of bacteria changes the polarity of the environment and causes visible color changes. n n Microbial-sensitive colorants, mobile phase, dye solution, color change, detection and quantification of microorganisms. |
