titleOfInvention | Novel Carbonic Anhydrase and method of CO2 Conversion or Fixation using the same |
abstract | The carbonic anhydrase protein gene was searched from the gene database based on the carbonic anhydrase 3BOH derived from the marine diatom, Thalassiosira weissflogii. As a result, it was found that Plesiocystis pacifica) Protein candidate sequences structurally similar to zeta-type carbonic anhydrase were obtained although the function was not known in SIR-1. The gene sequence of E. coli was optimally expressed in Escherichia coli and then expressed in Escherichia coli. The expression level of the gene was high and it was confirmed to have a zeta type carbonic anhydrase function. It was also confirmed that the compound exhibited activity even at a high temperature of about 80 ° C to 100 ° C. Accordingly, the present invention relates to the production and utilization of zeta-type carbonic anhydrase, which exhibits the hydrolytic activity and thermal stability seen in alpha-carbonic anhydrase. |
