titleOfInvention Solid transdermal therapeutic system comprising uv absorber
abstract The present invention is particularly directed to a novel solid phase transdermal therapeutic system comprising a UV absorber designed for photosensitive active pharmaceutical materials. The UV-stable transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) of the present invention comprises a backing layer 1, at least one active ingredient-containing matrix 2 and a peelable protective film 3, (5) is introduced between the backing layer (1) and the active ingredient-containing matrix (2). The UV absorber from the group of hydroxyphenyltriazines may be incorporated into the backing layer 1, the active ingredient-containing matrix 2 or the adhesive layer 4. [ The TTS of the present invention achieves high stability using a low concentration of UV absorber. Thus, the risk of possible skin irritation, in particular, can be prevented or reduced.
