abstract | The present invention relates to a cabbage-derived UGE1 gene and its use capable of improving resistance to abuse, tolerance to sugar toxicity, or yield in a plant body. The transgenic plants transfected with the Chinese cabbage-derived UGE1 gene of the present invention were found to have improved tolerance to dryness and glycosyltransferase, and the yield was clearly increased. Therefore, the UGE1 gene of the present invention can be used for enhancing tolerance to tolerance to dryness and sugar toxicity in plants, particularly crops, and increasing yield. |
