abstract |
The MgF 2 optical thin film 100 is formed on the optical surface of the substrate 10. MgF 2, the optical thin film is provided with a MgF 2 fine particles 12 and the surface of the amorphous silicon oxide and MgF binder (13) existing between the two fine particles of MgF 2 fine particles. The amorphous silicon oxide based binder 13 allows the optical thin film 100 to have high mechanical strength and adhesion to the substrate 10, excellent environmental resistance, and a lower refractive index. |
