abstract | The present invention includes a mixed layer provided between a pair of electrodes and a pair of electrodes. The mixed layer contains an organic compound containing no nitrogen atom, more specifically an organic compound containing no arylamine skeleton and a metal oxide. As the organic compound, it is preferable to use an aromatic hydrocarbon having an anthracene skeleton. Examples of such aromatic hydrocarbons include t-BuDNA, DPAnth, DPPA, DNA, DMNA, t-BuDBA, and the like. Examples of the metal oxides include molybdenum oxide, vanadium oxide, ruthenium oxide, rhenium oxide, and the like. In the mixed layer, when the absorption spectrum is measured, the absorbance per 1 µm does not exhibit an absorption peak of 1 or less or a clear absorption peak in the wavelength band of 450 to 650 nm. |
