abstract | The present invention relates to a novel liver cancer diagnostic marker, a diagnostic kit, a microarray, a liver cancer diagnostic composition, and a method for diagnosing liver cancer using the liver cancer diagnostic marker and a composition for preventing or treating liver cancer, which can effectively diagnose and predict liver cancer. DBC1 (deleted in breast cancer-1), a liver cancer marker gene according to the present invention, has an increased expression level in liver cancer tissues in comparison with normal tissues, and when inhibiting the expression of the gene, inhibits the proliferation of liver cancer cells. Since there is an effect that can prevent or treat liver cancer through the DBC1 gene discovered in the present invention can be usefully used as a target for the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer. |
