abstract | It is to provide a phosphor which can obtain high luminous efficiency even at high temperature. The phosphor of the embodiment emits light having an emission peak within a wavelength range of 490 to 580 nm when excited by light within a wavelength range of 250 to 500 nm. The phosphor includes particles of the Sr 3 Si 13 Al 3 O 2 N 21 genus crystals activated in Eu, and has an outer region up to 5 nm from the surface of the particle and an inner region deeper than the outer region. The ratio (O outer / O inner ) of the mean value O outer of the oxygen concentration in the outer region and the mean value O inner of the oxygen concentration in the inner region is 1.0 to 3.8. |
