The present invention relates to a composite material for automobiles used in a head liner, rear shelf, luggage trim, etc. of automobiles, and a method for manufacturing the same. Foam sheets of resins selected from the group consisting of mixtures thereof; (b) a first reinforcing material layer each laminated on both sides of the foam sheet, the first reinforcing material layer comprising a mesh of glass fibers or a chop of glass fibers; (c) a second reinforcement layer each laminated on both sides of the first reinforcement layer and made of a nonwoven fabric or an extruded sheet; And (d) a hot melt component for bonding the foam sheet, the first reinforcement layer and the second reinforcement layer to each other. The composite material for automobiles according to the present invention can be manufactured by an inline process, and is light, thus contributing to the weight reduction of the automobile, as well as having good mechanical properties. |
