abstract | The subject of this invention is providing the polycarbonate copolymer containing the plant-derived raw material which is excellent in mechanical strength, heat resistance, small refractive index, large Abbe's number, small birefringence, and excellent transparency. The present invention is a polycarbonate copolymer comprising a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound represented by the following General Formula (1) and a structural unit derived from an alicyclic dihydroxy compound, wherein the Abbe number is 50 or more, and 5% It is related with the polycarbonate copolymer whose heat loss temperature is 340 degreeC or more.
