abstract While providing a sterilization time in the culture chamber, it is possible to provide a culture apparatus capable of sterilizing in the pipes arranged in the gas concentration measuring sensor and the gas concentration measuring apparatus and in every corner of the culture chamber. The sterilization gas generator 42 which supplies a sterilization gas into the culture chamber 4 is provided. The sterilizing gas generator 42 mists the sterilant solution (hydrogen peroxide water) by the ultrasonic vibrator 46. An ultraviolet generating device (ultraviolet lamp 50) which irradiates the ultraviolet-ray to the gas in the culture chamber 4 is provided. The door (outer door 14) which closes the opening of the culture chamber 4 so that opening and closing is possible, and the locking device 52 which prohibits opening of this door (outer door 14) are provided.
