abstract | The present invention relates to a lemon verbena-derived actioside-containing extract and a functional cosmetic composition comprising the extract, and more particularly to a lemon verbena extract containing a high content of actioside through a specific continuous process manufacturing method. The present invention relates to a lemon verbena extract containing a high content of actioside prepared by the method and a functional cosmetic composition comprising the same. The cosmetic composition of the present invention contains a high content of actioside, which has been separated and purified from lemon verbena through solvent extraction, concentration, solvent fractionation and recrystallization as an active ingredient, and has anti-oxidation, whitening, anti-wrinkle, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and atopy. It can be manufactured and applied as a cosmetic composition having excellent effects such as improvement and UV protection. |
