The present invention relates to a catalyst system for polyethylene polymerization and a process for producing a catalyst system / support, comprising a solid titanium catalyst component containing a titanium compound and a support made from magnesium compounds, alkyl silicates and monoesters. The catalyst system may further contain an organoaluminum compound. The present invention also relates to a process for producing various types of polyethylene, including polymerizing ethylene in the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst system containing a support made of magnesium compounds, alkyl silicates and monoesters. |
