abstract | The crude pozzolanic cement comprises larger size pozzolanic particles comprising tricalcium silicate and smaller sized hydraulic cement particles (eg, Portland Cement). Particles larger than 10 μm are predominantly (50%, 65%, 75%, 85% or 95%) pozzolan particles and particles less than 10 μm are predominantly (50%, 65%, 75%, 85% or 95%). Hydraulic cement particles. Excess calcium from hydraulic cement is optionally combined with supplemental lime to form calcium hydroxide available for reaction with pozzolanic particles. At least 30%, 40%, 45%, 55%, 65% or 75% of the pozzolanic cement (combined pozzolanic and hydraulic cement particles) consists of pozzolanic and comprises 70%, 60%, 55%, 45%, 35% or Less than 25% consists of hydraulic cement. |
