titleOfInvention | Composition for the treatment or prophylaxis of toxic drug-induced hearing damage comprising red ginseng extract |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for treating or preventing a toxic drug-induced auditory injury comprising red ginseng extract. The red ginseng extract of the present invention can reduce the hearing damage induced by a toxic drug such as an aminoglycoside antibiotic, and thus, prolonged administration of an aminoglycoside antibiotic having a toxic effect such as tuberculosis and deep infections. Even if this is unavoidable, antibiotics can be reliably administered to treat infectious diseases. It can also reduce the side effects of anticancer drugs, known as toxic drugs, and treat and prevent hearing damage that is not related to toxic drugs such as sudden hearing loss. |
