titleOfInvention | Novel use of antimicrobial peptides as promoters for skin cell regeneration |
abstract | The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating wounds comprising an antimicrobial peptide as an active ingredient, and more particularly, to a novel use of an antimicrobial peptide for treating wounds by promoting skin cell regeneration, skin cells comprising the peptide. A composition for promoting regeneration and a composition for regenerating skin. Antimicrobial peptides of the present invention are effective against antibiotic resistant strains, and also have an intrinsic antimicrobial activity and structurally stable characteristics under high salt conditions, increase skin cell migration and regeneration rate, and have an excellent effect in a wounded mouse model. As shown in Fig. 7, it can be widely used as a skin cell regeneration promoter. In addition, it can be widely applied to various industrial applications such as cellular regenerative cosmetics. Therefore, the novel antimicrobial peptide of the present invention is expected to have a great ripple effect that will bring not only the antibiotic market, but also the trauma therapeutic market and the cosmetic market. |
